This program will invite scholars from North America, Europe, and Greater China (including Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan) to present research on topics ranging from democratic accountability and policy-making, collective action and social protest, nationalism and ethnicity, good governance, authoritarian resilience and regime change, to the concept of “all under heaven” (tianxia guannian) and the nation-state system. The training program is open to junior scholars and doctoral students who are dedicated to the study of Chinese politics.
