Yang Lin is currently a Ph.D. candidate in the Research Center for Chinese Frontier Archaeology at Jilin University, where she also received her B.A. in Archaeology. Yang’s doctoral dissertation concentrates on the burials of elite women of the Zhou dynasty, using archaeological and epigraphic materials while also relating to social changes, political structures and religious beliefs. Her additional research interests include early China, gender archaeology, Mesoamerican archaeology and fieldwork.
