Chen Hsun-Mei
陳洵渼
Hsun-Mei is a Ph.D. candidate in National Taiwan University and also at Kyoto University. In his previous studies, Hsun-mei mainly focused on issues in the Indo-Tibetan Buddhist tradition, especially psychology, ethics, and argumentation. Now at Kyoto University, his academic interests gravitate toward Chinese and Japanese Buddhist philosophy. He primarily focuses on Dogen’s philosophy of silence, and also on how different ways of translation impact the development of East Asian Buddhist philosophy.
