Kyungnam Moon is Associate Professor in the Department of Language and Culture at Tohoku Gakuin University in Sendai, Japan. He received his B.A., M.A., and Ph.D. from the University of Tokyo. His research interests include Ancient Western Philosophy, with a primary focus on Aristotle, and Contemporary Analytic Philosophy. His dissertation entitled “Explaining Hylomorphism,” written in Japanese, contemplates the relation between Aristotle’s hylomorphism and the contemporary philosophy of mind. He taught English and Philosophy at Rissho University, Senshu University, and the University of Tokyo before moving to his current position.
