This presentation explores the influence of Thomas Aquinas on Jesuit missionary catechisms, with a particular focus on Catechismus Christianae Fidei (1586), commonly known as the Japanese Catechism, by Alessandro Valignano 范禮安, S.J. an Italian Jesuit missionary to Japan in the late 16th and early 17th centuries.
