Chen Siyan
陈思言

Chen Siyan is a doctoral student in the History College of Nankai University. She received her M.A. from Nankai University in 2015 with a thesis on “The Golden Mirror of Medicine: The Social Life of a Medical Book”. Her current research interests include medical history, material culture, social history of knowledge, and history of technology. Her Ph.D. dissertation will concentrate on the transformation of acupuncture and moxibustion from late imperial to modern China.
