Chen Xi

Dr. Chen obtained her Ph.D. degree in Sociology from The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK). She joined Lingnan University in September 2022. Prior to that, she worked as Research Assistant Professor and Postdoctoral Fellow at the JC School of Public Health and Primary Care, CUHK. Her research interests include etiology of youth delinquency, social change and crime trends, social forces of substance abuse, and cross-cultural comparisons of criminal justice systems. Her Ph.D. thesis examined delinquency of migrant adolescents in China, specifically looking at the relationship between social class and delinquency.
