Jiyoung Park is a Ph.D candidate of Archaeology in the Dept. of Archaeology and Art History at Seoul National University. She received her B.A and M.A from Seoul National University where she also studied history education. The title of her master’s thesis is “The Expansion of Baekje and Settlement Reorganization: an Application of Radiocarbon Dates and GIS Spatial Analyses.” Jiyoung is interested in the development of complex society and the ancient state in the Korean peninsula during the Proto-three Kingdoms period and Three Kingdom period. She investigates this process and accompanied results through material cultures.
