QU Hongmei

Hongmei Qu is currently a professor of Philosophy at Jilin University, China, specializing in Kantian cosmopolitanism and Marxian moral theories. She received her MPhil degree at Leiden University, the Netherlands and Ph.D. from Jilin University. She was a Harvard-Yenching Visiting Scholar from 2010-11 with a project on Kant’s impact on contemporary political philosophy. She recently spent a year at Rutgers University as a Fulbright visiting scholar, working on the relationship between Cosmopolitanism and Nationalism in the context of global justice with Larry Temkin.
