Professor Takahashi (Department of Classics, Graduate School of Letters, Kyoto University) was a Visiting Scholar at the Harvard-Yenching Institute from 1997-1998. While at HYI, he worked on a research project entitled “The personae of Roman poets in the Augustan Age.”
