Hoang Cam Giang
Dr. Hoang Cam Giang received her Ph.D. (2013) from Vietnam National University. She currently is a researcher and a lecturer at University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University (USSH VNU), Ha Noi. Her researches focuses on Art History, Vietnamese Cinema, Film Study; World Cinema History. Currently, she is working for Dept. of Art Studies which is a part of Faculty of Literature in VNU. In the recent years, she is interested in interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary approaches in cinema and literature, such as adaptation and translation studies, and ecocriticism. Her research is now centered on cinematic criticism. Starting with the contemporary setting of the East Asian countries as they have experienced environmental crises from 2000s-2010s, her research explores their natural features and the interpretation and understanding of the nature-human relationship by East Asian films.
