Yang Yang

Yang Yang is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Chinese Language & Literature, Graduate School of Letters, Kyoto University, Japan. She received her B.A. (2007) and M.A. (2010) from Fudan University. During her graduate study, she has received systematic training in the study of Chinese classical bibliography. Her research interests include the history of books and intellectual history in both pre-modern Japan and China. Currently, she is focusing on the reception of Chinese books in Japan from the late middle ages to the early modern period (14th-17th centuries).
