Yao Dadui

Yao Dadui is currently an associate professor in the Department of Chinese at Sun Yat-sen University, China. He completed his dissertation at HYI, and received his Ph.D. (2013) from Sun Yat-sen University. He served as a post-doctoral research fellow (2013-2015) at the National Institute for Advanced Humanistic Studies, Fudan University. Dr. Yao’s research focuses on “Chinese Christian literature” in the 19th and early 20th century, looking into the problems of Biblical translation in Chinese, literary agents in the treaty-ports, and the indigenization of Christianity in China.
