Dr. Na Yi (Yeshi Lhamo), a Chinese Tibetan, is currently working at the Institute of Ethnic Literature at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences as an Associate Professor. She was selected for the National Program for Support of Top-notch Young Professionals. Dr. Na Yi holds a Ph.D. in Literature from Renmin University of China. She did her postdoc at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences’ Institute of Philosophy. As a visiting scholar, she visited University of British Columbia, Simon Fraser University, and University of Bonn. Her publications include Phase intuitive Creator – Tibetan Thangka Art in the Context of Cultural Studies, Love in Shambhala – Exploration of Cultural Creative Industries Development in Ethnic Areas, Tibet Medicine Thangka, Mandala, Tibetan Stupa, A Pictorial Biography of Sakyamuni Buddha. She has also published more than 20 papers and 60 articles in these areas. She is also known as a specialist of creative economy studies. She is currently doing research on Tibetan aesthetics and literary criticism.
